when lee first e-mailed me to set up her session, she wrote “your photography style and my personal style mesh.” that’s when i knew we were going to get along quite well, and i was right! we appreciated a similar aesthetic, and i loved that she was willing to be different and not do exactly what everyone else was doing! lee needed some fun, casual photos of herself to use for online stuff, so we headed out to noe valley for her shoot, which was her idea. it was a great little spot – lots of color and charm, and the storefronts were so cute! i had fun walking around with her and just hanging out with her!

funny story: we were shooting in this doorway, and one of the occupants of the building came out. she gave us a weird look, but she was fine with it.
